Dos Figuras N°2
1968
Raúl Valdivieso
These two figures in nickel-plated bronze resemble two vulvas. Raúl Valdivieso often incorporates references to sexual organs in his sculptures. For him, they are connected to the transformative power of nature, which allows one thing to emerge from another. He experiences that power both as a threat and as a triumph.
